ED 408, took us on an exciting adventure of how to “flatten” a classroom and what it takes to become an effective global educator. Dr. Newlin guided us through each chapter of The Global Educator, by Julie Lindsay. By the way, it is a great read, and I recommend it for all educators. We summarized case studies of our choice that featured educators and online global interactions, collaborations and projects. Many of these global educators presented stories of struggle and resilience, joy and hope. Global educators from Australia, South Africa, Denmark, USA, Canada and more were featured as they shared what they are doing to embed online global collaboration and how they were accomplishing it.
I am ecstatic to share with you my Global Project Plan Presentation that I co-created with a peer. This was a fun project and I hope you enjoy it! We certainly had a great time designing and creating it!!

It is through the use of emerging and established online technologies that global educators connect, communicate and collaborate.” ~ Julie Lindsay |
